97 of you have already completed your surveys. That's awesome! For those who haven't, I'd like to have these wrapped up before December. But maybe you fall into one of these categories: 

1. I never got an email about the survey? Where is it? 

A. This time around I'm using BackerKit to handle my surveys and fulfillment. But, just like with Kickstarter's surveys they are sent to the email address you used to register with Kickstarter. So hopefully you're checking that account. Still, things get lost. Packets get dropped. That's still the name of the game with a software system we've had for over 30 years. So If you can't find your BackerKit email, go here: https://shaolin-nun.backerkit.com/ Though, this can only send you a new survey to the email you used to register with Kickstarter. 

2. I ordered digital comic(s), just send them to me. 

A. BackerKit is also handling my digital fulfillment, so I can't send those to you unless you complete your survey. 

3. I donated without a reward. 

A. Thank you! And I'd still like to know if you'd like your name listed on the backer page for issue #3. I find that out when you complete your survey. 

4. You're not shipping until March. What's the rush? 

A. It's true, I'm not shipping until the third issue is completed, but the backer page is part of that (see previous answer). And if you're one of the three people (and I've only heard from one of you) who signed up for a guest appearance, we can't finish that page until you send us your photograph. You learn how to do that through your BackerKit survey.  Finally, digital rewards will be sent before I ship the physical rewards, so don't wait.

For the two people who signed up for "art cards" by Gregory Maldonado. He would like to personalize the cards for you. Complete your survey so I have your email address, and he'll get in touch with you. 

For the people whom Kickstarter wasn't able to charge your pledge, the great news is that you can fulfill that in BackerKit (I didn't know that when I learned Kickstarter had dropped you). So no need to send money to my PayPal account first, just complete your survey and have your new payment method ready.

This time around I'm using Backerkit for the surveys. So don't delete the email from Backerkit, and yes, it's safe to click the link, sign up, and answer the survey. You may need to check your spam and/or junk folder to find it. 

As always, completing the survey is the ONLY WAY I GET YOUR MAILING ADDRESS. So if you ordered physical copies of the book, t-shirts, artwork, etc., I need you to complete the survey.

Backerkit will also send out the available digital copies of issues #1 and #2 and will send out #3 when it's ready. 

These are sent to the email address you use to login to Kickstarter, so you may need to check your "[email protected]" address to find it. 

We lost a few of you

Evidently there's a seven-day grace period to get backers' money. If Kickstarter is unable to get your money by that date, they drop you from the campaign. :-( 

Don't worry, we didn't drop that far below our funding goal, so the campaign is still a success. 

However, if you are one of the of the six who were dropped, and still want to support our comic book and collect your reward, you can pay me via my PayPal at [email protected]. You have until January 30 to do so. 

Once Kickstarter pays me the total, I'll send out surveys from BackerKit to everyone.

We’re done with this campaign and ready to go to work on issue #3, now!  

My daily messages will now become monthly progress messages as we work to complete issue #3 and ship it out. Any problems or delays will be communicated here, so make sure you’re checking back in from time to time if these messages are hitting your spam email account (I know how some of you are).   

Speaking of that email account…  

In the next few days, expect an email from BackerKit. This will collect your mailing address and any other pertinent information (t-shirt size, for example), and give you a chance to grab any additional ad-ons.   

If you don’t complete the BackerKit survey, I can’t send you your reward.   

If you’re not getting a reward, I’d still like you to reply to the BackerKit survey, just to let me know if you want your name on the backers page in issue #3.  

All digital issues will be distributed by BackerKit

Issues #1 & #2 are available as soon as you complete your survey. Issue #3 will be available as soon as we finish it.

We're less than $600 from that streeeeeeeeetch goal! 

Who doesn't love a good stretch? 

This is it! The last day! 

• Who else will join us in this tireless mission? 
• Who else will grab the collector's item-level Printed Issues? 
• Who else will grab a nifty T-Shirt? 
• Who else will make a Guest Appearance in the book?
