Charlie McElvy's "Spider-Squirrel" is a fun take on superhero books. The book is a lot of fun and you can get both issues through the Kickstarter! I'm going to be throwing in my support, and so should you!
The "Miss Medusa's" story in Unlikely Heroes Studios, "Elsewhere, Vol 2" was my hands-down favorite, and here it is fully realized as a comic book! I'm very excited to support it and read it! I can't recommend it enough, and your support helps our own Laurie Foster's Unlikely Heroes Studios to produce more books like this!
It's not a comic book, but it's produced by our Letterer Andrew Malin's Velleity Studios! They've taken images from 1950s horror comics and recreated a tarot deck! What? Such a cool concept and, from what I know of the Tarot, the imagery is fairly faithful to the original! Why not get a tarot deck? Why not get one made from old horror comics? Why not throw them your support?

Our short story for Unlikely Heroes' Elsewhere Vol 3? At this point, we would need to reach not only our funding goal by October 15 (just NINE days away as of this writing), but also be about $1,000 over on that date before I would be willing to pull the trigger and get everyone drawing and coloring in time for the end of November deadline. Making that is ENTIRELY up to you and all those who haven't jumped in and backed us, yet. If we're at $7k in nine days, it happens. If we're not, it won't happen, and we'll start issue #3 as soon as we know we've funded.

We're at the halfway mark!
Both time-wise and donations wise. But remember, this is an "all or nothing" campaign. The only way I can pay my extremely talented artists to draw this issue is to hit that funding goal! So now that we've raised $3k in almost 30 days, we need to do it again!
I know we have 67 followers who haven't backed us yet. What can I do to get you to click one of those rewards and back us today?

Limited Edition Prints

Someday I hope to be promoting a book with the title: "The Art of Gregory Maldonado."
In 2019, my scripts for the first arc of Shaolin Nun were "completed." I started looking into what publishers needed for solicitations. At the time, the consensus seemed to be "Submit 10 pages of finished artwork." I'm not wealthy, at least not monetarily, so finding someone who could draw the first 10 pages and a cover was problematic. A friend told me about a website where I could post the job and get artists from all over the world responding. He suggested I offer whatever I thought I could afford and see who comes along. So I posted an ad asking for an artist who could draw the first 10 pages plus the cover for $150.00, which was all I could afford. And that's how I met Greg. His portfolio was impressive and he was keenly interested in not just drawing my comic for that paltry amount of cash, but in making the book a success.
Every issue I become more and more impressed with Greg's work. If you are too, then this is for you!

We seem to have hit a plateau. As frustrating as those are in weight loss, they're even more frustrating when fundraising. I'd like to fully fund by the end of the month.
